WHAT TO EXPECT
 
  Massage can be described as the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. A flight equine sports massage will incorporate a holistic approach allowing an individual plan to be tailored to suit your horses needs what ever the discipline or problem.

A visit will include:

A detailed assessment of your horse including:

  • Any veterinary advice
  • Conformation
  • Discipline
  • Gait analysis
  • History
  • Performance
  • Temperament
It will be necessary to see the horse walked and trotted up in hand and possible evaluated on the lunge or ridden if appropriate.

Followed by:

  • A thorough warm up massage feeling for problem areas
  • Application of Therapeutic Swedish massage movements to aid these problem areas
  • The use of beneficial passive stretches where appropriate
  • A relaxing all over massage to finish
